The ANDON Board That Shows You Who’s Fixing It — Not Just That Something Broke.

A static board tells you a machine stopped. The Destec digital ANDON board shows the live queue of open calls on your floor TVs, counts the minutes as they tick, and logs every one in Bell Cloud. Lights on a board tell you something broke. We tell you who’s fixing it, where, and how fast.

Digital ANDON Board

A Wireless ANDON Board on Any Floor TV

Most plant-floor ANDON boards are read-only. A lamp turns on, a number flips, and the data dies on the wall. You still cross the floor to find out what’s wrong and who went to fix it.

The Destec ANDON board runs on the screens you already understand — standard smart TVs, 40″ to 75″, with a Chromecast or Android stick. Each open call shows up as a card: call type in color, the station, the status, and a timer that counts up live until someone resolves it. Green is normal. Yellow needs attention. Red is critical. Readable from 20 feet across the bay.

Behind the screen sits Bell Cloud. Every call that hits the board also lands in your dashboard — MTTR, response time, productivity per machine, sliced by shift and call type, exportable to Excel, CSV, or PDF in one click. The board is what the floor sees. Bell Cloud is what corporate finally gets to measure.

On the floor

The board your team actually looks at

How it works

From a press to a logged KPI.

01

A call opens

An operator presses a wireless button, a sensor trips on a machine fault, or an admin opens it from the Web Portal. The card appears on the floor TV instantly.

02

The board routes and times it

The card shows call type, station, status, and a live timer. A responder accepts on a watch or app — and the board updates within one second. Waiting becomes On The Way becomes Under Support.

03

Bell Cloud logs everything

Timestamp, call type, machine, area, shift, responder, and all three phase times flow to your dashboard automatically. No whiteboards. No manual log.

04

You see across every plant

Run three sites, see three sites — one tenant, every open call and every trend, USA, Brazil, or Mexico, in the same view.

Proof

Forvia cut machine downtime by 50%.

Forvia (formerly Faurecia) cut machine downtime by 50% with Smart Call and Bell Cloud — and expanded to additional plants at nine months. Teams stopped hallway-hunting for maintenance and started seeing calls on their watches and floor TVs.

At one plant, shift handoff dropped from 40 minutes to 8 once each incoming shift opened a Bell Cloud dashboard showing every open call and the overnight trends.

A board without data is just a light. With Bell Cloud, every card on the screen becomes a KPI you can prove.

Questions, answered

The ANDON board, explained.

Do I need special screens for the ANDON board?

No. It runs on standard smart TVs from 40" to 75" with a Chromecast or Android stick — or wall-mounted Android tablets and industrial signage for harsh environments. Cards stay readable from 10 to 20 feet.

How fast does the board update when a call is accepted?

Within one second. A responder accepts on a watch or app, and every floor TV showing that call updates the status — Waiting, On The Way, Under Support — in real time.

What can Bell Cloud actually report?

Real-time dashboards, a full call audit log, and MTTR, MTBF, and operational-time charts sliced by unit, shift, and call type. Export to Excel, CSV, or PDF in one click, or schedule reports by email. Hosted on AWS with nightly backups.

Can I see more than one plant on the same dashboard?

Yes. A single tenant can view every plant — across the USA, Brazil, and Mexico — with each site’s open calls and trends in one place.
